conflict of interest – when sb has an unfair advantage bcs of their business / connections
eg. The guy who designed the voting machine has a conflict of interest in the election

eg. the movie was released last week

get a pension
eg. my parents get a pension

if number 3 gets elected 

it’s all doom and gloom – all negative and the future is over
