Overflow/Overflowed: (verb) when there is too much liquid and it goes everywhere.
Eg. Don’t put too much water in the glass, it looks like it might overflow.
Eg. The pool overflowed because we forgot to turn the water off.
Eg. Your glass overflowed/your glass is overflowing.
Cactus: a type of desert plant that doesn’t need water every day.
Eg. A cactus is very easy to plant, but I don’t like it.
Initially (in – ih – shull – ee)
Eg. The examination is coming up, initially we should review all the words we learned.
Frail: (adj.) delicate/breakable/ weak.
Eg. In the summer as the weather gets/is very hot I always feel frail.
Eg. Every month women are frail for 5 days.
Period: every month for women. (menstruating/menstruation)
Eg. I have my period right now/ I will be on my period then.
Transportation:
Train/Plane/ Ship/ Bus/ Car/ Van/ Bicycle/ Motorcycle/Tuk-Tuk/ Bullet Train/Subway/Metro/Underground/ Sky-Train
Sky-Train: a metro train that is above ground
Cruise Ship: a large ship that people take trips on.
Scooter/moped: half way between a bike and a motorcycle. Usually uses electricity.
South east asia: the southern part of asia. (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia etc.)
Helicopter: (hell – ih – cop – ter) a plane that has large wings on top, and can go straight up and down. (army/tourism/hospitals)
Eg. My hometown is in southwest part of Canada.
Eg. My house is in southwest part of Shanghai.
North & south always at the beginning.
Northwest/northeast southwest/southeast
Sea sickness/ motion sickness/ travel sickness/ morning sickness (pregnant)
