Vocabulary

lost touch – stop contacting someone

eg: I lost touch with all my old high school friends.

backstabber – someone who betrays you

eg: She always spreads rumors about me, but she’s nice to my face, she’s such a backstabber

ghost someone – ignore all messages and calls from someone, don’t contact them

eg: I had to totally ghost her.

get back in touch – to resume contact or friendship with someone

eg: My old friend tried to get back in touch with me, but I wasn’t interested.

Be used to – sth becomes normal

I’m used to overthinking, now it doesn’t bother me anymore.

used to do Sth. – sth you did before, and don’t do now

eg: I used to buy tons of stuff on taobao

tidy up (V.) – put things away, organize, light cleaning

eg: “I’m gonna tidy up my room, it’s totally filthy and disgusting.”   (Chuyi)

tidy (adj.) – organized and clean

eg: My room is never tidy. (Chuyi)

interface – a way ton interact with computer software

eg: A good looking UI or user-interface is important for any app.
