Vocabulary

Argument (n): 1- a disagreement, or the process of disagreeing.
E.g.: The children had an argument about what game to play.

Compromise (n): 1- an agreement in an argument in which the people involved reduce their demands or change their opinion in order to agree.
E.g.: Compromises will need to be made by both sides in order for them to reach an agreement.

Postpone (n): 1- to delay an event and plan or decide that it should happen at a later date or time.
E.g.: They decided to postpone their holiday until next year.

Overtime (n): 1- time spent working after the usual time needed or expected in a job:
E.g.: They’re working overtime to get the job done on time.

Appreciation (n): 1- the act of recognizing or understanding that something is valuable, important, or as described (v: appreciate)
E.g.: Children rarely show any appreciation for what their parents do for them.

Aesthetic (n): 1- relating to the enjoyment or study of beauty.
E.g.: The new building has little aesthetic value.
