Vocabulary

How often? a day, a week, a year.

Once a week

three times a month

twice a day

four times a month

on site – at the location of the project

eg: “Sometimes I need to work on site.”

sick of – do not enjoy this thing anymore, maybe you did before, but now you have had too much of it. Can no longer stand it.

eg: “I used to cook pasta all the time, but now I’m sick of it.” “I’m sick of traffic in Beijing.”

sick from sth.  – become sick from something

eg: “I got sick from that street food, I won’t eat there again.”

paradox – a situation with no answer

eg: God paradox. “God is all powerful, so can he make a stone so heavy that even he can’t lift it.” This is a paradox, because if he can’t lift it, then he is not all powerful, but if he can’t make it, then he is also not all powerful.
