Lots of new vocabulary in this class, next class please review and write a story in order to help Sherry remember it! Also if possible work on helping her eliminate extra and duplicate words in her sentences. ie:

Obviously I prefer to study in a silent environment because I can’t focus on my book in a noisy environment.

Yes I like toys, but I don’t play with toys now. When I was a child I played with toys sometimes but usually we used our imagination. I didn’t have any favorite toys as a child.

Imagination: thinking up something that doesn’t exist.
Eg. Pretending to be a family, and using our imaginations to make up our pretend house.
What kind of sport is the most popular in your country?
Ping pong is the most popular sport in my country. I think ping pong and badminton are the most of Chinese have played it. You can get it from Olympic games, most of ping pong and badminton gold medalists are Chinese. But we are not good at football and basketball, maybe it’s because our physical is different than African and Western countries.

This is obvious/ shown during the Olympic games, most ping pong gold medalists are Chinese. We are not good at football and basketball, maybe it’s because our bodies are different than African and Western countries. But we can react quickly when we play ping pong!
