F2F Class Notes 12th October (Celeste)

I was going straight on my scooter. There was another scooter next to me on my right. He turned right in front of me / He cut me off to turn right.

animal – meat

sheep – mutton

lamb – lamb

cow – beef

pig – pork

butcher / butchering / butchered / will butcher  (bu – cher ) verb- to kill or slaughter and cut open an animal to sell in order to eat

eg. I watched the man butcher the sheep for lunch.

It was the first time I rode a horse and camel.

I could see it.  / I saw it.

He stabbed the cow in the throat. / He slit/cut the cow’s throat open.

We put socks over our shoes to stop the desert sand from getting in.

If there is a lot of salt, it is salty.

If there is a lot of sugar, it is sweet.
