F2F Class Notes 12th December (Jesse)
I want / I plan /  I hope / I’d love to go / I’m really interested in going / I’m really keen on going to America because / since / as / due to the fact that I want to get / obtain / receive / gain my masters in law at an American law school. I haven’t specified which / the exact one, I just want to try my best / work as hard as I can / do my best to enter those best / excellent / top / big / famous law schools like Cornell. I want to get in to New York University but / however / although + unfortunately I think it’s too difficult / hard / much of a struggle / challenging for me because they don’t admit too many / a lot of / a huge number of / a large amount of Chinese students. Actually / In fact / In actuality / In actual fact / In reality they prefer to admit those students from Beijing University which I think makes it a little bit difficult for me. I think / In my opinion / I believe / I guess / I figure / I reckon Cornell or UCLA are maybe easier to get in to.
it’s more easily for me to get in. – it’s easier for me to get into / it’s more achievable for me / more practicalÂ
