Vocabulary
Extrovert – outgoing and talkative person, usually very friendly eg: “Marketing jobs are more suitable for extroverts.”
Introvert – “a quiet person who wants to stay alone” (Chuyi). eg: “Even though he was an introvert, he was a great salesperson.”
cliche – overdone and overused thing that has become boring and predictable. “The trash landing in tv shows is very cliche.”
predictable – able to see something that will happen eg: “The weather is very predictable when there are dark clouds.” “My payment for work is very predictable, it is always delayed because of our financial manager.”
Idioms
24/7 – all day every day eg: “7-11 is open 24/7, despite it’s name, which originally meant open from 7 to 11.”
ahead of the curve – to be ahead of or better than the competition. eg: “Tony was ahead of the curve in elementary school, his teachers offered him the chance to skip 2 grades when he was in Kindergarden.”
