I have been learning English for about 9 months due to the reason that I transferred to new position. Expect for that reason, I like to speak/listen English and watch English movie as they are my hobbies as well. However the actual improvements appeared until I started with Smart English. The teachers in Smart English will correct my wrong pronunciation and sentence structure/logic to reduce speaking Chinglish. They also remind me to record what we have talked on the class and listen to them several times when I return home. Through listening and practicing writing, I feel I get great improvement because I am using what I have learned which really helps me  remember all these useful words/sentences.

A lot of people may have wrong thoughts that taking part in English corner is the best way of learning English. To my experience, I think it only has a little effect to make you dare to speak in front of a group of people without someone pointing out your mistakes. Time after time , you are still use your Chinglish when you talk to foreigners. When you first start to study a language, it’s very important to remember something in mind or even recite some good sentences. It’s just like when I was a baby to study Chinese, I can’t create a language, I repeat what my mother say. So the language is when people say it, you just say it the same way.
