Travel diary entry Oct.12 in the Yellowstone National Park

Today is the second day that we spent on visiting the Yellowstone National Park and our tour guide took us to visit five scenic spots, which are Artist Point, Brink of Upper Falls, Midway Geyser Basin, Old Faithful Geyser and Fountain Paint Pot respectively .

We are very lucky because we have seen a lot of animals, like wild cattle and sheep.The guide told us that it is safe if you see a group of cattle, but it is dangerous if you only see one cattle. Because cattle is a kind of social animal, if you see a cattle stay alone maybe due to he just lost a struggle, so he might be very grumpy.

We are lucky also because we met the best weather of Yellowstone in the past one month. Before we arrived here, we were told that Yellowstone had been blocked because snowing. But when we arrived here, the weather turned well with a great sunshine and a pleasant climate.

Now we just left Yellowstone to Salt Lake City(SLC). Tonight we will stay there and move to Las Vegas in the tomorrow morning.

We are very lucky because we have seen a lot of wildlife, like wild cattle and sheep. The guide told us that it is safe if you see a group of cattle, but it is dangerous if you only see one cattle. Because cattle are a kind of social animal, if you see a stray bull, it‘s maybe because he just lost a fight, so he might be very grumpy.

We are lucky also because we encountered the best weather of Yellowstone in the past month. Before we arrived here, we were told that the road in had been blocked by snow. But when we arrived here, the weather became sunny and comfortable.

We just left Yellowstone to Salt Lake City(SLC). Tonight we will stay there and head off to Las Vegas in the morning.
