Most of the colleagues who sit around me are elder than me and they already have kids either in kindergarten or in primary school. We often go to lunch together in the canteen and most of the time what we talk about are the education of children. They pay special attention to the education of their children and spend most of their time on their education after work. They do not only take time to educate their children the knowledge but also try their best to make their children healthily grow up and be more competitive. They bring their children to visit museum, historic places, attend the swimming classes or dancing classes, etc. It is expensive and time consuming to raise a child but they seem to enjoy the process. Sometimes they complain about the Chinese education system which make the children face lot of pressure even at very early age. The children have to attend the extra classes after school and pass different kinds of difficult tests. That make them do not have as much time to play as we have at the same age and lost many pleasures. They can not change the current situation but have the belief it will be improved someday.
