If there was not James’ recommendation, I would not be aware to my ability as a senior. If I didn’t have the experience of attending the P11 technician workshop, I would not be so confident and desired to be the senior. So now I want to introduce myself deeply to you, and hope you could know me more completely.

After the twice interviews and the feedback from Amy and Isabel, I know you have approved my working skills on garment technology, but still feel worried about my powerful leadership.

What is leadership?
1) I think it is the ability to summarize the general issues of daily work, express to the related persons, and get effective feedback from them. So the daily work could be operated more smoothly. I have done the case during the meeting in Sweden. For the meeting, I summarized all the general issues from our daily work, and give the pattern-makers a presentation. After the communication with the pattern-makers and designers, we create agreement on all the issues. And when I back to office, I found all the designers and pattern-makers have improved the issues. I feel so glad. And I recognized it is not so difficult to do that although I am not a senior in H&M. Because I work seriously all the time, I definitely know what issues there are and what feedback I want to get. Because I have rich knowledge on garment technology, I know how to persuade them. Because H&M has so nice atmosphere, I feel very relax to communicate with all of my colleagues. This experience gives me much confidence to be a senior.
2) I think it is the ability to give the team member good supports, leading them to take their responsibility, and work effectively. During my school times, my dream is to be a teacher, because I am really enjoying the process to teach or guide the students what I already know. Until now, I still enjoy the teaching or guiding. So for our daily work, I always tell Annie about my thoughts, and share my knowledge with her. We have very good working environment to talk the work all the time. Yeah, there may be some person difficult to cooperate, and some things difficult to handle. Trust me. I can cover them. I am good at analyzing the persons or things from the root. I believe every issue could be solved if you find the root. There always be two basic reasons for people working here, one is for living, and the other is for career. Most of them would like to complete the work smoothly. Analyze the issue from what they want, guide them how to solve the issues and support them to complete the work. I think all the people could accept me. I am not the powerful leader. I am just the person support them to complete the work and achieve their aims.
3) As a senior technician, the leadership should be the ability to insist on the quality, and lead the brand to be high quality as it should be. I love the technician work so much. I always steeped in the process of finding good solution for the workmanship. I feel really excited when I receive a good sample. I joint in P11 from its very beginning, and now P11 is just like my 4 years old daughter. I hope to raise it up, just like to raise my daughter up. So I am really desired to be the senior, not from my ambition, but from my loving to P11 and the technician work. I believe I could bring much positive effects for the team and the brand.
I am not the smart person who is sophisticated with society. But I am the one who could handle the work effectively. I believe I do have the potentiality to develop my working skills. And now I just need the platform to let my energy burst.

So I really desire to be a senior technician, not from plain ambition, but from my love of P11 and the technician work. I believe I could bring many positive effects for the team and the brand. I can handle the work effectively and I believe I have the potential to develop my skills thoroughly. And now I just need a platform where I can harness my energy and turn it into productivity.
