The Chinese new year has just passed by and I have to back to work again which is a horrible thing. I even forget my password to open my computer!

During the last week, we visited lots of our relatives and got- together  for family dinner to enjoy the happiness and harmonies while children enjoyed playing with their cousins and getting “Hongbao” from the elders. After the dinner elders chatted with each other and snatched “Hongbao” on Wechat.

For Chinese people, the Chinese new year is a very important holiday for the family so that the workers who worked out must go back to their home for the family union. Because of the fact that workers have been back to their home, every year during this time, the road is so clean and subway is empty. I hope every day is like that .The government announced new policy for fireworks from this year that we could not play fireworks in the city which is a good news to me . I will not be disturbed by noise in the middle night and there will be no smog for the air pollution also.

In conclusion, I really enjoyed the new year and wish the spring come very soon.

During the last week, we visited lots of our relatives and got together for family dinners / for a family dinner to enjoy the happiness and harmony while the children enjoyed playing with their cousins and getting “Hongbao” (red envelopes) from the elders (their older relatives). After dinner, the adults chatted with each other and snatched “Hongbao” on Wechat.

For Chinese people, Chinese new year is a very important holiday for the family so the workers who work in other cities must go back to their home for a family reunion. Due to the fact that the workers have gone back to their hometowns, every year during this time, the roads are so clean and the subway is empty. I wish every day was like that. The government announced a new policy for fireworks from this year which is that we could not play with fireworks in the city. This is actually good news for me as I will not be disturbed by the noise in the middle of the night / at midnight and there will also be no/less smog.

In conclusion, I really enjoyed the new year and wish the spring would come sooner / can’t wait for spring to come
