I just read in the news that Spacex successfully recollected their rocket after a launch which sent 8 satellites into orbit. This is historical since it had never been done before by any other companies, or countries, to be exact, and the reason for doing this was that it saves a lot of money by taking advantage of reusable rockets. 90 percent of the cost of rocket launches comes from the first stage of the rocket, and we used to discard after every launch. Well, technically it’s more like we have to because there was no way to re-collect them precisely back to certain areas, therefore they had to spend a lot of money launching a rocket. But from now on, thanks to Spacex, we do have a better, money-saving option / alternative
