intersection – the point where 2 streets cross

Ex: There are many cars blocking the intersection. / We can meet at the intersection of Wulumuqi Lu and Huashan Lu.

crosswalk – where people can safely cross the street

If you look the traffic light turn to green it means we can walking on the crosswalk. –  Thalia’s example: If you see the traffic light turn green that means we can walk through the crosswalk.

Celeste’s example: When the traffic light turns green we can cross the crosswalk.
