Youyun

– daily conversation is OK, sometimes not fluent, needs to improve vocabulary, wants to make speaking fluent and comfortable, all writing is in English at work, but speaking at work is often Chinese. Wants american pronunciation. Works as a coder, and at the company since 2022 after graduating from university.

After our class today I can see the main areas that need improvement are vocabulary and advanced sentence structure and sentence building. His ability to have conversation seems to be quite good, though relies on some words too much and needs to learn synonyms and practice using them in both speaking and writing.

Suggested course: In class: conversation surrounding work and life topics, recent and upcoming meetings, small talk, discuss emails recently received, PPTs etc and correct mistakes and upgrade frequently used words. At home: write a diary using the vocabulary and grammar learned in class, finding more advanced vocabulary where possible, send emails and PPTs from work to discuss in class. Read the news in English and write down difficult or interesting words and sentences you’d like to discuss in class.

I really like the trip to malaysia and actually i went to malay after I got back from singapore and i traveled there with my gf and i directly flew to malay from singapore and we met at the airport at one city called….. and that city is the capital of eastern malaysia. and eastern malaysia is very famous for scuba diving. That’s also the reason that I go to that place so we actually went to 3 places in malay,….. you can try… you can see…. the sea view is pretty good… you can see different levels of blue… different plants under the sea.
