Fenghe

– daily conversation is OK at work but in life communication is hard due to lack of environment, email formatting, feels writing is better than speaking because has more time to think, doesn’t do presentations often, listening is fine in meetings etc. 

Generally has good ability to communicate about daily life and some work topics, though listening is impacted by a lack of vocabulary which is due to not having an environment to practice in regularly. Focus for classes should be conversation around familiar topics at first to remember vocabulary previously learned, to fill in gaps, and to identify main grammar and sentence mistakes, before beginning to work more on synonyms and advanced vocabulary he needs to diversify his expression. Pronunciation is quite good though has an accent and doesn’t use connection pronunciation frequently.

Suggested course: In class: conversation surrounding work and life topics, experiences in life including traveling and hobbies and interests, recent and upcoming meetings, small talk, discuss emails recently received, PPTs etc and correct mistakes and upgrade frequently used words. At home: write a diary using the vocabulary and grammar learned in class, using simple vocabulary to express words and ideas you don’t know the words for, send emails and PPTs from work to discuss in class. Read the news in English and write down difficult or interesting words and sentences you’d like to discuss in class. After 3 months: focus on sentence and vocabulary upgrading, using synonyms for frequently used words.

i went to …. in tokyo so it is a museum but you immerse yourself in the museum so when you are in the museum you walk in the water and also there are the lights around you, there are … screens, they’re all around you so you can enjoy the whole show yourself. It is near the airport I think. I ate a lot of japanese food like sushi and noodles and i was surprised to know that japanese people also eat dumplings which is jiao zi in Chinese. I feel really good in Japan because you can pair with the mobile phone just like china because alipay and wechat pay are supported in japan. One thing that I find uncomfortable with is that taking a taxi in japan is really expensive.

The museum is near the Haneda airport I think. I ate a lot of japanese food like sushi and noodles, and yakitori, and i was surprised to know / learn / discover / find out that japanese people also eat dumplings which is jiao zi in Chinese. I felt really good in Japan because you can pay with the mobile phones just like in china because / since / as / due to the fact that alipay and wechat pay are supported there as well. One thing that I find uncomfortable with  / that I am uncomfortable with is that taking a taxi in japan is really expensive.
