Young

– A nervous 15 year old high school student who may go to Hong Kong to study. He struggles with making full sentences and needs prompting to speak more. He also struggles with learning new vocabulary. Spend time on speaking and grammar and find suitable topics or reading to work on in class.

Vocabulary

economics – the subject that you like in school

ex. Economics is my favourite class in school.

ex. I really like economics because it’s interesting.

mobile/smartphone game – games that you play on the phone

novels – storybooks

fiction – stories/books that are not real

non-fiction – books/news about real people/animals/events (things that’s happened)

not really – no (but not at strong)

ex. “Do you like maths?” “Not really.”

Or I don’t really like maths.

Grammar

Subject-verb 

I eat.

Subject (noun/pronoun)-verb-object (noun/pronoun) 

I go to school.

I read books.

adjective-noun 

I will read English/school books.

verb-adverb (describe the verb) 

I run quickly to school.

How often do you have English class?

ex. I have English class every day/daily/once a week/a month/twice a week/three times a week  

ex. I will see my friends tomorrow.

ex. Tomorrow I will see my friends.

I’m fifteen years old and my hobby is play badminton.

I’m fifteen years old and I like to play badminton/my hobby is badminton.

I don’t like maths. I think it’s difficult.

One day I have two English class.

I have two English classes every day/daily.

Sometimes I will read books.

With friend go shopping maybe

I will go shopping with my friend.

I like to talk with people but sometimes is very quiet.

Just sometimes when the teacher told me I will talk.

Just sometimes when the teacher asks me a question then I will talk/answer.

The classes are friendly. In free time in school with friends sport.

My classmates are friendly. During free time in school I would play sports with my friends.

But sometimes I like to sleep.
