Demo Class Notes (Camille – Jesse)

Camille

– was in the UK before for a few years, got a new job in a Chinese company so not using English much now, chinglish / chinese thinking may be biggest problem, writing may be better than speaking. I suggest focusing on vocabulary and grammar. Reading articles or watching videos at home and writing about them, using new vocabulary from the vid or article, then discussing and correcting in class. Also writing a diary 1-2 times a week talking about daily life and work. Conversation in class to generally practice English and gain confidence and familiarity with English.

Speaking exercise

before the COVID 19 I traveled a lot, not only in europe but mostly in asian when I back to China for work. So I’ve been so of the countries for example, thailand, singapore, Japan. Actually I think Thailand. The weather here is pretty good and the price is pretty low. It’s a pretty chill place. Actually my previous company has some clients in other countries but mostly for this company are China based clients. Basically we are facing some financial firms as our clients like from PE or venture capital. We’re providing some professional services or tools to help them make some investment decisions. As a sales I need to sell our product…when it comes to some challenge or the recent problem I’ve been facing. I think to expanding your leads pipeline is quite a challenge for any sales I think.
