Junkie- (News Junkie) Someone who is addicted to something like drugs. News junkie refers to people who can’t stop reading or checking the news.
e.g. Peter is a real news junkie, he is always checking the BBC and CNN for news updates.
Genre- A kind of category used to describe music, films, or books.

Devastated- To feel very terrible about something, to have an intense feeling of emotional pain.
e.g. The mother was devastated when she heard her son had died.
Concise- Something that is very direct, that gets to the point.
e.g. The report my colleague gave me was not very concise, it had a lot of useless information in it.

Is kind of a tragedic- It’s a tragedy/ It’s very tragic
