“Back home” – Doesn’t mean at your house , instead it means in your country of origin.
Earning vs getting- “Earn” differs from “getting” slightly as earn implies you MUST have done something to get the result where as to get does not indicate you did anything to be given something.
e.g. I work very hard at my job so I earned the reputation of a hard worker.
e.g. I was late with my report but my boss gave me a second chance.
Stayed on – Continued with.
e.g. the Cruise ship made port in Singapore but I stayed on until Thailand.
e.g. I was set to retire this year but I stayed on in a voluntary role.
Think outside the box – The ability to view/problem solve outside of the mainstream way of thinking.
Vocabulary
Intellect – Used specifically for being wise in areas of knowledge.
Know-how – Practical wisdom.
Incubator – A safe area to help something grow.
Revised – To look at something again, and typically change.
Assisting – To help but not take lead on.
Executives – Traditionally, a high powered position for decision making and or funding role in a company/ on a project.
