Vocabulary
Secede (v): 1- to become independent of a country or area of government.
E.g.: There is likely to be civil war if the region tries to secede from the south.
Brutality (n): 1- behavior that is very cruel or violent and showing no feelings for others, or an act of this type.
E.g.: Seeing so much brutality towards prisoners had not hardened them to it.
