Vocabulary
Kebab – ChuanR /string

correct – Dui, Right, / not wrong

eg: You’re right, that is correct.
Got – to become, change from one thing, to be another thing
eg: I got full so fast from that food.
eg: It got cold last night. But it was really warm during the day.
pass sth up – to not do something
eg: I shouldn’t have passed up that chance to get some kebabs.
Grammar
Passive Voice – We don’t know who did the Action (V)
Not Passive
eg: I drank some milk. (We know YOU DRANK the milk)
eg: Iris didn’t send the e-mail!
Subject + Verb + Object (Thing affected by Verb)

Passive

Object + Be + Verb (Particple. Ate. Eaten, broke, broken ) (NOT SIMPLE PAST WORDS!)

Writing exercise
I ate a bunch of string. I heard my colleagues say it was delicious a year ago, but I haven’t eaten it yet. Nowadays many things are too old to try, and I don’t know how to order, so I never eat them every time I see them.
It tastes a little like childhood. When I was young, I took a bath in the bathing place, and when I washed it out very hungry, I always had to eat a few strings.
I ate a bunch of kebabs. I heard my colleagues say they were really good a year ago, but I haven’t eaten any yet. Maybe I’m too old to try new things, and I forgot how to order them, so I usually pass them up.
The taste reminds me of my childhood. When I was young, I took a bath in the bathhouse, and when I finished washing I was very hungry, I always had to eat a few kebabs.
