eg: “My mom works in real estate.”
handle – to control or take care of
eg: “I handle the G.L. accounting for Nike Shanghai.”
jargon – company or group’s words, specifically used in their groups
eg: “In sales, you shouldn’t use too much jargon with the client.”
repetitive (adj.) – something that keeps repeting
eg: “i hate repetitive jobs.”
catchy – simple to learn and easy to become popular
eg: “That’s a really catchy song.”
catch on V. – to become popular or normal
eg: “VR (Virtual Reality) games are catching on in China lately.” “Another thing that is catching on in China is AR, which means Augmented Reality.”
stubborn (adj.) – do not want to change, even if it is better for you
eg: “Stop being so stubborn.” “They were too stubborn to adapt to a new market, so eventually their business failed.”
