Vocabulary

Co-worker (n): 1- colleague.
E.g.: She is my favorite co-worker.

Director (n): 1- a manager of an organization, company, college, etc.:
E.g.: She has become the director of the new information centre.

Pilot (n): 1- a person who flies an aircraft.
E.g.: Thankfully, the pilot managed to land safely.

Admiration (n): 1-  a strong feeling of respect for and approval of someone or their behavior. (adj: Admirable /v: Admire )
E.g.: I have a lot of admiration for my mother.
E.g.: I admire my mother very much.
E.g.: I think she is a very admirable person.

Envy (n/v): 1- to wish that you had something that another person has. (adj: Envious)
E.g.: I envy her ability to talk to people she’s never met before.
E.g.: I am envious of her ability to talk to people she’s never met before.

Jealousy (n): 1- a feeling of unhappiness and anger because someone has something or someone that you want (adj: Jealous)
E.g.: She was consumed by jealousy when she heard that he had been given a promotion before her.
E.g.: She was very jealous when she heard that he had been given a promotion before her.

Altitude (n): height above sea level.
E.g.: We are currently flying at an altitude of 15,000 metres.

Skydiving / Parachuting (n): a sport in which a person jumps from an aircraft and falls for as long as possible before opening a parachute.
E.g.: Skydiving is practiced by people of all ages.

Bungee Jumping (n): 1- the sport of jumping off a very high bridge or similar structure, with a long elastic rope tied to your legs, so that the rope pulls you back before you hit the ground.
E.g.: He went bungee jumping in New Zealand.
