Vocabulary

Boarding school – 寄宿学校.
A school where you can stay and meals are provided.
E.g – She was sent to a boarding when she was nine years old.

Dormitory – 宿舍
A large room containing numerous bed to be shared.
E.g – I share the dormitory with 8 other people.

Spaghetti – 🍝 意大利面
Pasta made into thin strings.
E.g – My mum is making spaghetti for dinner tonight.

Mango Sticky Rice
A Thailand delicacy made from mango, glutinous rice & coconut milk.
E.g- Mango Sticky Rice is one of my favorite dessert.

Glutinous Rice – 糯米
E.g – Glutinous rice is more filling than normal rice.

Coconut milk – 椰奶
A thick white layer extracted from a coconut.
E.g – I like to add coconut in my curry dish. It makes it more flavorful.

Needle Mushroom – 金针菇
E.g – Needle mushroom is my favorite item to put into the hotpot.
