2） “Have you ever been to Japan?” – 问别人有没有去过
“Yes, I have been there twice.”

“Have they ever been to Japan?”
“No, they haven’t been there before.”

HAS BEEN  (He/She/It) 

3） He has never been to Italy

A: “Where are you going away for Christmas?”
B: “Oh, I don’t know, maybe Italy, I haven’t been there before?”
A: “Huh? You have never been to Italy before?” – 表达惊讶或者没办法相信的情况
