Vocabulary
Summer Vacation – A break from school in the summer
eg. This summer vacation I want to go to Greece.
Hoverboard – electric vehicle popular with kids and teens.
eg. My friend let me try his hoverboard and I almost fell down.
Elbow – Where the top of your arm and bottom of your arm and connect. where you can bend your arm
eg. I got a big cut on my elbow when I fell off my hoverboard.
Gross – Something that makes you go ‘Ewwww’.
eg. I don’t like stinky tofu because it is gross.
Bedtime – The time when you go to bed. Or when your parents make you go to bed.
eg. My bedtime is at 9 o’clock because my mom says so.
Grade – Your level in school
eg. This year I am in second grade.
Grow up – to become an adult
eg. I never want to grow up.
Gentle – (温柔) – To be nice and quiet
eg. I prefer cats because they are more gentle.

Vocabulary

eg: Can we print that photo?
compose – to make (music or writing)
eg: Beethoven composed a lot of music.
bored – you feel like this, because something is not interesting
eg: I didn’t like the movie, I was bored and turned it off.
Grammar
