eg: I have a meeting with the board.

forfeit – to give up something, to say, We lose.
eg: France forfeited the world cup, because they are scared of England.
eg: If you resign you forfeit your severance package.
sever (V.) – to cut off
eg: Help I need to go to the hospital, I severed my finger.
severance package – a deal that employees will get when they are fired or let go.
eg: All CEOs have probably negotiated a fat severance package.

a rut – 1. a depression in the ground, from something traveling over the ground too many times. now the ground is lower, only in that part. 2. Same things every day, nothing is changing, and hard to get out of it.
eg: 1. You shouldn’t drive in the ruts on the road.
eg: 2. I think I’m stuck in a rut. I’ve been working in this position for almost 20 years.
a lull – a brief time when an action or activity stops
eg: There was a lull in the storm, and it was quiet for a while.
eg: There was a lull in sales this winter.
eg: I’m in a bit of a lull. I just can’t seem to be productive.
aircraft carrier – a ship that Jets can land on
eg: I went on an aircraft carrier in San Diego.
