I think a broad choice in subject will be much better for a college student. First, more knowledge in different majors will be a great help for student’s life in the future. A man needs more than one subject knowledge to enjoy his life. The second is many expert and masters grasp more than one major knowledge which help them to discover and contribute in their academic life. The last one is, more and more companies welcome vacancy or applicants with multiple major and knowledges.

The man thinks eliminating bus service is a bad idea. he thinks the bus service is necessary but the route of the bus should be reconsidered and he thinks eliminating bus service and create more parking lots for students will lead to a situation where more and more students will drive to the uni and the traffic will be heavier. It is not the planner expect to be.

Audience effects is an effect,  that a performer will try to impress an audience and behaved quicker and better than he is not being noticed. People tend to impress others and want others to think that they are better than they really are. But on the other hand, doing things quicker leads to more mistakes. That is what happened in the learning to type demonstration/experiment.

The problem is the women is on the waiting list for a field trip next week. She thought she might have no chance so she promised another professor to help with a museum show; The man provided two solutions  the first one is to ask the professor to ask someone else to help her. The second is to finish preparation before next thursday. I think the second one is better it looks more responsible for her if she can manage.

According to the definition and examples by the professor, money is something we pay to purchase products or services from others in society, like we purchase drives from a taxi diver and the driver purchases vegetables from a farmer. on the  other hand money is legal tender, in a society, you must accept this tender when you provide services or goods to others, you cannot reject or refuse it.

In my opinion love patience and helpful are the most important characteristics a parent should have. Children need to feel love and safe and grow healthily and they also need patience from the parents to try to do what they need to learn to do, they should have the opportunities to make mistakes, make many mistakes maybe, until she manage to do so. The last one is during their growth, they need much help from their parents like some guidance, advices, and even the opportunity to make mistakes.

I think work in groups are a better idea for the student during their study. One hand, a student should learn how to cooperate with others before he or she enter a society and find a job, this should be a team player In a group they can learn form each they can see what others can do and get advice from others. In the meantime their ideas will be challenged by their teammates which will sharpen their ideas and thinking.

The woman doesn’t like the idea to limit breakfast food in cold food the first one is it is said that the cold foods are healthier. it is ridiculous you cannot define the food or not by the temperature by the temperature, the second one it is said, that cold food will save money for students, if the students cant get what they want to eat on campus they will try to find it off campus, which will cost more money than it used to be.

For example, she mentioned that cold yogurt could not be healthier than hot cereal. She finds it ridiculous to define whether food is healthy or not by its temperature. Cognitive dissonance is a situation when people doing what they think they are not supposed to do their activity and thought have conflicts usually when such person have cognitive dissonance, they can do nothing with their behavior what they can do is to persuade themselves to change their thought  and expectations. i mean they try to reinterpret their thoughts and make their thoughts in co-ordinance with their behavior, like try to persuade himself like this professor, being a sociolist doesn’t need to grasp chemist knowledge.

Cognitive dissonance is a situation when people are doing what they think they are not supposed to do. their activities and thoughts are in conflict.  Usually when people have cognitive dissonance, they can do nothing to change their behavior. what they can do is to persuade themselves to change their thoughts  and expectations. i mean they try to reinterpret their thoughts and make their thoughts fall in line with their behavior, like this professor who tried to persuade himself that chemistry wasn’t important or helpful for being a sociologist.

The speaker has a problem. She has an award ceremony to attend on the same date when she will have a biology test. She could not make the two events on the same time. Her professor provides a solution that she can deliver a 5 page essay instead of the test but to prepare the essay will take more time than to prepare the final test. Her friend provides another solution where she can send someone to the ceremony instead of her to take the reward but the problem is the speakers parents will be at the ceremony they are hoping to see their daughter on stage and share the honor. I would recommend the speaker to prepare the 5 page essay because she has the ability to do so, she will enjoy the exciting moment with her family which she will remember for her whole life.

From the talk we learned two different advertising strategies the first one is repeating. The advantage of the product will be repeated in the commercial time and time and again. people will believe what they hear and possibly be convinced in the end. The second one is they will invite a celebrity to introduce the product in the commercial. In most peoples mind celebrities are trustworthy, what they say is rather persuasive. If a famous race driver tell us in a commercial that a car is very fast, although it looks not in that way, but we are very possible that the car is fast enough.
