Vocabulary

knock on wood – A phrase used to express that something will or will not happen. This expression alludes to the ages-old superstition that literally knocking on wood would ward off evil spirits.
Celeste: I have never been to the dentist in China. Knock on wood!

There are always two sides to everything. Sometimes the good thing and the bad thing exist at the same time. Such as the high temperature of this year, which I thought it’s too hot. I don’t want to go out frequently, so I spend more time accompanying family and friends at home on weekends,and chatting, cooking and eating together. In normal I usually hung out. Certainly this kind of good or bad is subject on my own standpoint.
On the other side,just like Tony gave me an opinion ,who think everything is on a spectrum. I thought it is due to different of view, he stands on the objective position. Such as the same thing as my example I mentioned. It doesn’t exist good or bad, it is gradual and concurrent.The height temperature makes me staying at home, then I spent more time accompanying family and friends. No good and no bad, maybe have both of them. After all I gain the same thing which is the mild day is coming up.

Last week I went to see the dentist at the 9th Hospital of Shanghai, which hospital is famous as the cosmetic surgery and the dentist.
In the beginning I planed to register an expert, but the nurse told me that the earliest time of the expert was on 9th August. Due to my emergency, I decided to register a commen outpatient service.
When I arrived at the door of the consulting room, I found there were so many patients in line. I sat down and picked up my phone to pass time. I forgot how long it is, when the nurse called my name, I thought it was finally my turn, Victory. But after seeing the doctor, she told that she only offered the treatment option to the patients at the first time, about one month later she can start real treatment. that means I have to wait again.

I forgot how long it was when the nurse called my name, I thought it was finally my turn. Victory! But after seeing the dentist, she told me that she only offers the treatment options to the patients during the first visit/appointment, so about one month later she can start the real treatment which means I have to wait again.
