Vocabulary

Unit – a measure word for something that is made or comes from a factory. (e.g. I want to import 500 units of T-shirts from Japan.)

Offender – is someone who breaks the law or does something that they should not do. (e.g. Police in Shanghai will fine offenders who break the traffic laws.)

Fine (n) – the money you have to pay if you break the rules or the law. (e.g. Yesterday I had to pay a fine because I was driving too fast.)

Online addiction is an serious problem for a lot of people in China, especially for/with youngsters. They usually spend at least 2 hours on social media, online gaming and shopping. For example, people who like to play online games all day don’t go outside, always eat instant noodles and spend a lot of money in game/online/on in-app purchases. That’s terrible.
Actually some people they can’t control themselves.
