Pronunciation

I think Chinese will become one of the dominate world languages. Maybe 70% of the world population will speak English, the rest could speak Chinese, I don’t think Chinese will become the only main language in the world, because in America and Europe, people primarily speak English. Another reason is that Chinese is too difficult for people whose mother tongue is not Chinese. I think Chinese will become one of the main languages. I think English will still be the most important language.

I think it’s sad to know that more than 6000 languages will disappear. For example, in my hometown, there are many dialects but I know some of them have disappeared within a few years, because many people moved to bigger cities, and they don’t live in their hometown. Less and less people are speaking the dialects now. I think we cannot stop the extinction of languages, we can only accept it. 

Lu0TianYi is a digital idol, she is not a real person. Yesterday, she sang many songs, I think it’s fantastic. She’s not a real person, but she can move and sing. I was thinking, how could she do that.

What are the main differences between living in the Countryside 农村 and living in a city like Shanghai  农村?  

I think Obviously, Shanghai is a big city. Its very common for people to spend a lot of time at work then go back to their apartment to rest. Uuuuhhh uh uhh I think in the countryside you know you are familiar with the neighborhoods but living in Shanghai you will not know who is living beside your apartment  or beside your house. I know my neighbors but I don’t know who is living above me. I live with my sister and my brother. We are all in our twenties. Currently, I am working in a Chinese financial company. If I was living in the countryside I could be a farmer, but I don’t know how to plant vegetables 蔬菜 or trees 树 …

Actually I will go to see a drama tomorrow evening.

• Uuuuhhh uh uhh = You need to think first, create you sentences, then speak them. This is part of using Language effectively. Try to use less of these “verbal pauses” and if you have to, just speak slowly. 
• you know = This is very common phrase. Has many meanings…. —->Want Detailed speech 详细的语音模式
• My residence is an apartment 公寓. Great pronunciation! 
• I live with my sister and my brother. —> My brother, my sister and I all live together under one roof ….在一个屋檐下
• Use more adverbs to describe what is the feeling of your conversation.

Example. My native language is Chinese, more specifically, Zhejiang hua . Zhejiang hua is just a dialect of Chinese. The difference between Mandarin and my local language is large. The main difference is that Zhejiang hua does not have a written form, it can only be spoken. The pronunciation is also very different.

A phrase that can be used to compare things 比较

The main difference (subject) is to be(v) …. (object) 1) cannot be written 2) pronunciation

to plant a tree = 种树,

government is made up of people and you are Chinese person ? 政府是由人组成的, 你是中国人

The Government decides where to plant trees but still people can do it  政府决定在哪里植树, 但人们还是可以做到的

I’ve never seen a person planting a tree before!

ex. I have a Chinese boyfriend.

Guy Friend 谁是男孩的朋友 ( Just a Friend, Not Romantic or Personal) 

ex. I don’t many guy friends.

Girl, Strong, Weak, Big, Fast, Slow…. Beautiful, Smart = NOT Smartly,  Happy —-> Happily, 

Adverbs =  Verbs + Adjectives  =Adverbs ….. – ly 

DESCRIBES AN ACTION  —- What is happening? How is it happening? 

Quickly, Slowly, Happily, Angrily….

The basketball player was very quick. He quickly scored points for his team. One day, he became injured. Then he couldn’t play basketball. His injury slowly healed ( His injury healed slowly) .
