Vocabulary

Explicit (adj): 1- showing or talking about sex or violence in a very open or detailed way.
E.g.: TV networks are usually not allowed to broadcast explicit material before 10pm.
E.g.: There’s an explicit sex scene in this movie.

Bipolar disorder (n): 1- a mental illness causing someone to change often from being extremely excited to being very depressed.
E.g.: She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Diagnosis (n): 1- a judgment about what a particular illness or problem is, made after examining it. (v: Diagnose)
E.g.: “What was the diagnosis?” “Arthritis in both joints.”
E.g.: The doctor has made an initial diagnosis.
E.g.: Diagnosis of the disease is difficult in the early stages.

Unforgiving (adj): 1- not willing to forgive people for things they do wrong. 2- unpleasant or difficult to deal with. 3- An unforgiving fabric or item of clothing can make you look fat.
E.g.: My wife is unforgiving by nature.​
E.g.: The unforgiving seas make search and rescue very difficult.
E.g.: Satin is gorgeous but can be unforgiving and emphasize bulges.
