panic (n):a sudden strong feeling of fear that prevents reasonable thought and action

E.g.: a state of panic

panic attack (n): a sudden period of severe anxiety in which your heart beats fast, you have trouble breathing, and you feel as if something very bad is going to happen

impulse buy (n): something that you buy suddenly and without thinking carefully
