Vocabulary

Karma=(yin guo bao ying) principle according to which each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person’s deeds in the previous incarnation.

ex:  bad Karma

take ______ for granted= you don’t treasure ____ anymore

ex: We usually take our parent’s love for granted.

absurd= utterly or obviously senseless (huang miu)

ex: This story is absurd.

In my opinion, it should be a circle, bad person should receive bad karma, I don’t think so. Some people are so good, but they don’t have good karma. In my environment, my mom said good person will have good karma. Bad person wouldn’t get their bad Karma, just the time is not up.

My dad is very lazy at home, so my mom is a typical housewife. She used to work, but now she is retired. My dad doesn’t realize I should help my wife do something. He takes for granted. My mom always complain to me, I said you can leave it, you don’t have to do that.

In my opinion, karma exists. Bad person should get/have bad karma, I don’t think so. Some people are very good, but they don’t have good karma/life. In my family, my mom believes that a good person will have good karma. There’s a Chinese saying that: if a bad person doesn’t get their bad Karma, it’s because the time is not up yet.

(A wife found out her husband is cheating, but she hasn’t evidence about it. At the beginning, she is curious why her husband go to a place everyday. So she followed her husband, her husband went into an apartment, his wife try to stand out, and look inside. There is a window, she said it’s very easy to look what’s happened inside. She’s curious about why her husband didn’t sleep with that woman, but they are not sleeping. She wants to find out that they are sleeping. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been happened it. One day she couldn’t tolerate about it, she went into the house, and slapped her husband and another woman said, please don’t hit your husband, it’s not his fault. After she calms down, he asked her,”who are you, I don’t know you, why you are in our house.” the wife confused. That woman said, please don’t blame him, my husband was dead because of car accident few months ago. But my husband’s ghost don’t want to leave me, so we don’t do anything beyond kissing. )
