My Big Brother

My big brother’s name is Richard. His birthday is in September and he is 13 years old. He is 7 years older than me. Now, he is in grade 6 at Yu Cai Middle School. I have a funny memory of him and my grandmother playing checkers together. The first game, my grandmother won. He was extremely proud of her. My grandmother wanted a high-five but my brother wanted to be silly so he poked her palm instead. Everyone smiled but only he laughed. In the second game, my brother won. He was extremely happy with himself. After they finished, he taught me how to play checkers. I learned that checkers is easier than chess but I still love chess more. Yesterday, I played chess with him but he didn’t let me win. It made me feel good because he gets sad when I win and I don’t like when he is sad. I want my older brother to be happy because I know he is busy with a lot of homework from school.
