PRESENT

present simple – 一般现在时
S + be/verb.
陈述日常事实/经常发生的动作
i.e. I am a student.
i.e. I run every day.

present continuous – 现在进行时
S + be + verb.ing
强调此刻正在发生的动作
i.e. I am talking.
i.e. I am writing my homework.

PAST

past simple – 一般过去时
S + was/were / verb.+ed 
陈述一个关于过去的事实
i.e. I was a student.
i.e. I ran every day.
i.e. I went to MGS last Wednesday.

past continuous – 过去进行时
S + was/were + verb.ing 
强调过去某个时间点正在发生的动作
i.e. I was talking.
i.e. I was writing my homework.

FUTURE

future simple – 一般将来时
S + will + be/verb.(base form动词原形) 
陈述一个关于将来的事实
i.e. I will be a student.
i.e. I will run every day.
i.e. I will go to MGS next Wednesday.

be going to = will
I will run.
I am going to run.

He will sing. 
He is going to sing. 

future continuous – 将来进行时
S + will be + verb.ing 
强调将来某个时间点会正在发生的动作
i.e. I will be talking.
i.e. I will be writing my homework.

am/is -> was

are -> were

past simple verb -> verb.+ed
jump -> jumped
use -> used
run -> ran
sing -> sang

不及物动词 －动词后面不可以直接跟名词

like to do sth.
like doing sth. 

I like to run.
I like running.

What did you do last Sunday?

I was at home last Sunday. I watched TV.

I will go home tonight.

What will you be doing tonight?

I will be going home tonight.
