My favorite holiday is Spring Festival. Families can get together during the Spring Festival. I can play games with my brother, sister and cousins. Families get up early to make dumplings. In the evening, we eat and talk together. The day of the Spring Festival, there are also red packets. When I was a child, I loved spring festival because I can have new clothes ，Now I like Spring Festival because I can have a red packet. There are have no classes during in the Spring Festival holiday. It’s my favorite holiday.

SVO Subject + verb + object

PRESENT

present simple – 一般现在时
i.e. I am a teacher.
i.e. I do my homework everyday.

state a general fact or an action that happens often

present continuous – 现在进行时
i.e. I am listening to you.
i.e. I am drinking water.
S + is/am/are doing + O
emphasise the action that is happening right now

PAST

past simple – 一般过去时
i.e. I was a student.
i.e. I walked to work.
S + was/were / verb+ed + O
state a fact about the past

past continuous – 过去进行时
i.e. I was eating dinner.
i.e. He was listening to the radio.
S + was/were doing + O
emphases the action at a specific time in the past

FUTURE

future simple – 一般将来时
i.e. I will be a teacher.
i.e. I will go to the park.
S + will/shall + verb + O
state a fact about the future

future continuous – 将来进行时
i.e. I will be eating dinner tonight at 7pm.
i.e. You will be talking to your mom later today.
S + will/shall + be doing + O
emphasise an action that will be happening at a specific time in the future

I have a big family. My father, my mother, my sister and brother. I am a university student. My sister and my brother are in the middle school. My father is a business man. And my mother is a housewife. We come from Jiangsu, Suqian. It is a small city. We feel happy because we live there.

I got up at 10am and brushed washed my teeth. I had lunch with my sister. After lunch, we went to the cinema. She said this film was her favorite. We went to eat hotpot, it was too spicy. So we ate some ice cream and drank some ice water.
