Write down your reflection on the movie “The Father”

Write about a documentary that you’ve watched recently.

I didn’t watch the documentary for a while. But I watched a TV series recently, it’s named < Mare of Easttown>.

The story talks is talking about a female police officer who lives are living in Easttown, her name is Mare. She is lost her son for a long time. Now she is working on a young girl missing case. the series begins with a young girl missing case and then they had another murder case. Beginning with that case, this town had another young girl murder case happened.

Basically, it’s a mystery show. But in my opinion, it’s more than that. I think the story wants to convey community, family, hope and people trying to learn to move on from their own trauma.

I can tell all the characters from this series, they each deal with a different situation and different trauma. They want to overcome the dilemma of life. Even though everyone’s life is messy, they still keep trying. Like the most people living in the world.

Also, this female lead is played by Kate Winslet, a famous actor. she is doing an incredible job with on this character. For example, she learned the dialect, changed her body shape, and she insisted on not having  of don’t has any makeup for being a real mid-age woman. That’s difficult work for any actor, she has put 100% effort into this.

She makes this series better than other series in this year. I think she will win EMMY AWARDS in 2021.
