Vocabulary

the restaurant is just in the plaza of Jing An Kerry Centre. The restaurant is located at the corner of Anyi A.N.Y.I. rd. and T.O.N.G.R.E.N. rd. Its a glass building. It’s called Calypso, an Italian place.

the price of vegetables depends on the season.

How do you combat food poisoning?

Be very careful about which restaurant I go to, think if it’s clean enough. If not, go to the hospital.


satisfactory – good enough (sounds ok)

good enough – satisfactory (sounds not so good)

so much for – sounds like you are giving up on this thing

eg: So much for our trip to Sanya, there is a big storm and now we can’t go.

eg: It’s too cold outside, so much for the workout. I’m not going outside in this weather.

eg: So much for this class, the professor is so boring, I will switch professors.

Speaking exercise

We have received 6 reviews today. (We have 6 reviews to go over today.) Four of them are quite positive and the guests mentioned, a good location, nice service, nice breakfast and great views from our hotel. For the negative ones the guests mention the quilts are not very comfortable. Another guest mentioned the service is not satisfactory. That’s all for the TRUST YOU, report.

Grammar

EVERY Sentence must have:      Subject (Noun)   Predicate (Verb).

Object – the thing affected by the verb.

I eat.

I eat oranges.

I ate an orange.
