coast – land next the ocean

eg: I live on the coast.

eg: I live in a coastal city.

eg: I live in a landlocked place, it is not coastal. I’m from Flagstaff, Arizona.

The East Coast – New York, Boston, usually More North.

nationwide – all of the country

the South – only the southeast

the southwest – the southwest

the midwest – the north central, kinda east, America.

the west coast – California, Washington, Oregon

eg: We have locations all over the west coast.

eg: We have a few locations in the northwest, but mostly we have stores in the south.
