Vocabulary

compress – to make a file size smaller

eg: We needed to compress a lot of photos to send over e-mail.

eg: We needed to put them in a zip file.

batch – a group of things together

eg: We had some problems getting batch compressed files under 5mb.

size limit – the amount of data which can be stored or sent

eg: The size limit for email attachments is 25mb.

-4  – four below / negative four

eg: The low is negative four and the high is 7 degrees.

stern – serious and strict, uncompromising

eg: Those were stern words coming from a usually relaxed guy.
