elf – a fictional person, who is very tall, thin, and has long hair and pointy ears
dwarf – 1. a fictional shorter person, who usually has a beard and is very strong 2. a smaller version of something, smaller than it usually is
1. eg: Yvonne is too short to be an elf, so maybe she is half elf and half dwarf.
2. eg: I want to get a dwarf cat, they are just like normal cats but smaller and cuter.
3. eg: Their profit dwarfed the other companies’ profits.
eg: Yao Ming dwarfes everyone he stands next to. (he makes everyone look small)
pointy – has a pointed end
eg: Don’t hand someone the pointy end of a knife.
eg: Yvonne has pointy elf ears.
artificial – fake, not real, seems real
eg: I hate the taste of artificial sweetener, it ruins the coffee.
artificial intelligence – machines or computers that have intelligence like a living thing.
eg: A.I. will be the most popular tech in the world.
tedious – slow and boring
eg: That was a tedious speech to watch.
eg: My job is really tedious.
soul – your inner spirit or life
eg: Some people think when you die, your soul goes to heaven, others think your soul goes into another living thing, like an animal.
soul crushing – something that completely changes who you are and the way you think, makes you unhappy and bored, feel like nothing matters.
eg: You might think being an accountant is soul crushing, but I like it.
