eg: My school is in Jing An district.

kind of – yi zhong, one thing from a bigger thing

eg: Tea is a kind of drink.

eg: Oolong is a kind of tea.

eg: My favorite kind of tea is Pu’er.

mistake – cuo wu

eg: Sorry, this sentence has a mistake. Dui bu qi, zhe ge Ju zi you yi ge cuo wu.

get up – qi chuang

eg: What time do you get up?

go to bed – shui jiao

finished – zuo wan le / jie shu

eg: Are you finished eating?

eg: Did you finish your homework?  I finished my homework.

shorts – duan kuzi

eg: It’s too cold for shorts.

shoes – xie zi, things you wear on your feet

eg: I got a new pair of shoes last week.
