Vocabulary

concise – using few words : not including extra or unnecessary information
eg: Your answers in the interview should be concise. Keep them short and sweet.
eg: People like Cheng Yu because it’s concise.
assimilate – become part of the larger group
eg: Most people that move to America will eventually assimilate. Especially their kids.
Sponsor – to act as sponsor for; promise, vouch, or answer for.
eg: They said they could sponsor my visa.
overhaul – completely redo
eg: They want to overhaul the immigration system.
proficiency – skill level
eg: I was impressed at his language proficiency.
Speed trap – a place on the road
Buff – very strong and big
eg: Some American police are buff and intimidating.
Grammar
