Cats

Cats are a great pet

  1. They are loyal.
  2. They are independent.
  3. Cats are smart.

Many people already have cats, so that is proof they are good.

In the end I’d like to say I love cats.

tortilla – a round flat bread

eg: Tortillas can make a great lunch wrap.

Queso – Spanish for cheese

Quesadilla – food, that uses a tortilla, covered in cheese, then folded in half and cooked.

eg: I will try quesadillas, but I don’t love cheese.

nominal – a very small amount

eg: They just have to pay a nominal fee for some drinks.

proceeds – profit, usually used for donations, charities

eg: They donated half the proceeds to a children’s hospital.

Grammar

If you have friends who are living there

I just got myself wounded – I just hurt myself

I scraped your hand on the hand (The door cut you lightly, with some pressure, maybe many small cuts)

My hand is scraped

I grazed my hand on the door (The action of touching it barely as it moves by you, or passes you)

The door grazed me.

The bullet just barely grazed his arm, so he was ok.
