eg: Do you have a favorite director?

My favorite director is Wang Jia Wei.

drama – 1. about theatre   2. a kind of movie, or tv show, Very emotional

BODY PARTS:

bone – gu tou

eg: Many actors in the theatre, will say. “Break a Leg.” They don’t want you to really break your leg bone. It is just a way to say, “Good luck!”  So, Don’t ever say “Good luck” it is really bad luck.

cartilage – ear and nose bones, not really bones

eg: Your nose and ears have cartilage inside.

belly – du zi

eg: My belly hurts today.

Chest – large part of upper body, in the front.

Back – large part of upper body, in the front.

LOWER BODY:

hips – two large bones, between your belly and legs

eg: In salsa dancing, you need to move your hips a lot.

     legs – tui

eg: In the second salsa picture, one leg is straight, and the other leg is bent. (ADJ)

knees – in the middle of your leg, Can bend

eg: Bend your knees.

ankles – between feet and legs

eg: My ankles hurt from dancing

toes – at ends of your feet

eg: I have 10 toes.

UPPER BODY:     Arms

shoulders – between your chest and arms

eg: Shake your shoulders.

elbows – in the middle of arms, Can bend

eg: Your elbows are one of the strongest parts of your body.

wrists – between hands and arms, can bend

eg: You are supposed to wear that on your wrists.

eg: The watch on my wrist says it is 5pm.

knuckles – part of your hand that can bend

eg: Six months ago I cut my knuckles on glass.

fingers – part of your hand that can bend and grab.

eg: Tap your fingers on the piano keys. Don’t hit the keys so hard.
