Vocabulary

Drive – long first shot

Approach – Shot to the green

Putt – shot on the green

Pitch – to hit a golf ball so that it goes very high in the air and rolls very little after hitting the ground

point blank – shoot something at very close range

eg: If you get shot point blank it could hurt, but usually water bullets don’t hurt.

sting – a sharp but not very severe pain.

eg: It stings a little, but doesn’t really hurt.

lock on – automatically target something

eg: The RPG doesn’t lock-on; but the Rocket Launcher has a more sophisticated targeting system, so it can lock-on.

treads – tank grip for the wheels.
